This program will teach you to speak your truth, lead with integrity, and stand by your values.
Case study: Aaron, Creative Director, Airbnb
Aaron was top of his game. The leadership team trusted him and always asked him for more. His ideas were valued, and his wisdom was encouraged. Aaron was great at his job and he enjoyed his work. He did exactly what he needed to do, delivered results on time and always exceeded expectations. His team was happy and enjoyed working for him.
Aaron was enrolled in the Leadership Academy as a perk to his position. Unknown to his leadership team he started the program burnt out, defeated and considering new opportunities. On paper he was a success story, and everyone thought he was happy, but, in real time he was exhausted, bored, and feeling unfulfilled. The Leadership Academy helped Aaron to identify his complying ego, which forced him to go along to get along; to get the results and make his boss happy. To be the manager that everyone liked.
Unfortunately, this ego also prevented him from taking time for himself and creating balance in his life. He struggled with managing up and sharing his real concerns and ideas. Aaron lost himself in the job and was no longer the happy creative guy he was when he started his position.
As Aaron went through the Academy he began to reconnect to himself and learned to speak up to his team and leaders. He began to coach and inspire not just his direct reports but also his senior leadership team. Aaron learned to silence the ego that told him to keep his thoughts to himself and don't stir the pot. He realized he was hired for his wisdom, experience and knowledge. He needed to share it and challenge the executive team when he had a concern or a better idea. His confidence grew, and he realized that the more he showed up in meetings the more meaningful his work was.
The academy helped Aaron became a great leader he was no longer just the well-liked boss and employee. He became a leader that everyone respected and turned to when they needed inspiration. He learned to hold his team accountable and challenge them all to show up and be better. Most importantly Aaron realized the value in managing up and was no longer scared of speaking his mind to authorities. He learned how to communicate his ideas and concerns without letting his feelings get in the way. Aaron maximized his impact and both his team and company were more successful because of it.

Case study: Jason, Sr. Project Manager, Airbnb
Jason worked with Airbnb for five years. He was very strategic. He knew the product inside and out and was a visionary who was always ten steps ahead of the team. His leader loved that he could count on Jason to always get the tasks done quickly and efficiently.
Fortunately, Jason was very successful on the tasks and results side of his position. Unfortunately, he struggled with relationships and the people. His team always got the job done but team morale was down, and conflict was high. After six months of Jason being in his role he had a few negative complaints and a couple of team members move departments. Jason knew this was a sign of failure, but he did not know how to change his approach, so he started to control the situation even more to try and get better results.
Finally, Jason's boss realized that they were losing talent if something didn't change quickly. Jason was enrolled into the Mindful Choice Leadership Academy and after just eight weeks of coaching he learned how to change his language to be more of a team player. Jason realized his intentional impact was getting lost. As he gained a high level of self-awareness he was able to become more confident in his skills which allowed him to lead his team instead of dictate and micromanage them. Jason also learned how to communicate with the different personalities on his team which helped motivate them to show up and be more accountable. After six months of the academy his team culture transformed, and his team’s results tripled.
"Christie has a unique ability to call out your ego and offer constructive feedback that builds confidence and empowers you to be a better version of yourself. My whole life I was trained to be the best. When I moved into leadership it was hard for me to become a "we" player. Through the Academy I learned that I was only successful if my team was successful. I need them just as much as they need me." Jason

"Christie is like a laser and focuses in on the deep issue that may be holding someone back. I appreciate her leadership style because it is direct and caring at the same time. She is an asset to any person or organization."
"In the last six months I have gained much more self-awareness and confidence. Christie helped me to be a better listener, stick to my values and hold my integrity in hard times, manage my stress which helped me to be less reactive with my direct reports when things went south, and most importantly I improved my coaching skills with my team. This program works, everyone should give it a try."
"This program taught me how to handle personalities not just people. What a huge gift! I have improved my relationships at work and home."
"Christie has deep experience as a business coach, and it shows. She has a tremendous ability to cut through to the heart of a matter, and understand what needs to change to produce big results."
